Harmonic Living: Breath and Chant, Meditation and
Movement
With David Hykes & Dennis Lewis
April 3-8, 2005,
Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, 57 Interlaken
Road, West Stockbridge, MA 01262, 800-741-7353 (more
details later).
From the Big Bang and the music of the spheres to
healing sounds and String Theory, the harmonic nature of
reality resounds in both the universe and ourselves.
Through quiet attunement and vibrant awareness we can
come again into touch with the deepest original harmony.
David Hykes (founder of a universal sacred music called
Harmonic Chant and the Harmonic Presence work) and
Dennis Lewis (founder of Authentic Breathing®
and author of Free Your Breath, Free Your
Life) will accompany you on a soulful journey of
awareness within the Self, where listening, sound,
breath, and sensation emerge as joyous manifestations of
the cosmic symphony.
Each day's exploration begins with a guided meditation,
and includes Harmonic Chant, the cosmological music
based on the natural overtones of the voice; special
movement and qigong exercises; and Authentic Breathing®,
which explores multi-dimensional levels of breath and
sensation. Our aim is to rediscover the quiet and moving
reality of resonant Presence and to better practice
harmonic living in our daily lives.
Recommended Listening and Reading: Hearing Solar
Winds, CD by David Hykes/Harmonic Choir, and
